Here are some of the women who've
passed through Jack's doors, from our graduate training programmes, and have
gone on to pursue other opportunities or further studies. We're proud to
maintain our association with them:
Nana Gyima
LLB (UCT)
LLM (International Human
Rights Law) (UCT)
Nana
joined the Jack Hammer team in 2008 in an administrative capacity while
completing her Masters degree at the University
of Cape Town. In addition
to her administrative duties, she assisted in various research assignments as
well as managing the company's Business Intelligence Centre.
After
a happy year and half at Jack Hammer and completion of her degree, she moved
into the legal research and development field. She is now employed at a research
institute affiliated with the University
of Pretoria and works as
a legal and policy researcher in the field of socio-economic rights.
This
entails researching developments and trends in the advancement of these rights
in the Southern African region. The role invariable leads to discussion and
liaison with government, non-governmental and international agencies working in
the field of human rights and economic development.
Muchero Nyazema
B.Soc.Sc
(Organizational Psychology); B.Comm (Hons) (UCT)
Masters
in International Business (UK)
Muchero
joined Jack Hammer in 2006 after completing her honours degree at the University of Cape Town. She started off as a trainee
researcher, and over an 18 month period
became an accomplished Research Associate, covering assignments in a range of
industry sectors and engaging with executive level professionals on all of her
projects.
An
opportunity arose to study overseas, and Muchero left the Jack Hammer team
mid-2007 and moved to United Kingdom to complete a
Masters' degree in International Business. Living in the UK was a wonderful experience both
culturally and academically. She completed her degree with a first class pass for
her dissertation and then returned to South Africa.
She is now employed with
Dimension Data in the Human Resources division on their Graduate Program, and
considers herself very fortunate to be part of a large organisation that has
afforded her such a wonderful career opportunity.
Tumisang Sono

Hammer Executive Headhunters. She joined the team in January 2007 and throughout
her year with the company continued with her studies for her Masters degree!
After
completing her Masters at UCT she returned to Botswana
and is now an HR consultant with Edcon in their Botswana region.
In her role, she performs
all the HR functions for all the stores in the region, including recruitment
